Captain Tom Moore brought joy and inspiration to all of our lives when he decided to walk around his garden 100 times to thank our NHS heroes. By doing this he managed to raise £38.9 million for the NHS Covid-19 appeal! At the age of 100, he showed the country that you are never too old to make a difference!
Since then, Captain Tom Foundation has created a #CaptainTom100 challenge…… and this is where we come in. We have decided to raise money by walking, cycling, and wheeling 100 km this weekend (30th April – 2nd May). We will be donating the money we raise to two local charities; Blackpool Food Bank and Fylde Foodbank.
