Any business, organisation or activity that helps to improve the health and well-being of the community could be eligible for free training provided by the upskilling project.

Upskilling the Health and Social Care Workforce Project is an organisation working across the social determinants of health including, but not limited to, the arts, sport and recreation, education and training, community development, employment support, environmental initiatives and so on.

The purpose of the project is to bring together ‘support, training and future proofing’ groups throughout Lancashire, who contribute towards improving people’s health. We offer free training (accredited and non accredited). From funding support, basic skills training and networking opportunities to leadership and management training, organisational development plans and skills audits. If you’re a solo operation or there’s a hundred of you, there is something for all levels of an organisation.

We offer online or in person workshops to fit the bespoke needs of the groups we are working with.
